Rosana Ratkovčić

Art historian, art critic and curator. Assistant Professor at the Department of Art Studies, University North in Koprivnica. Doctoral dissertation on the topic of Medieval Wall Painting in Continental Croatia. Engaged in research of medieval art and aesthetics, especially wall painting. A wide range of interests prevail in scientific, research, professional and artistic work, from medieval to contemporary art, Islamic art and Sufism, cultural animalistics and contemporary dance. Author of the art monograph Medieval Wall Painting in Continental Croatia (Zagreb, 2014, Kultura umjetnosti). The research of medieval wall painting extends to the interest in various forms of visual messages and urban interventions in public space, which is presented in the book Craft Spectacle (Zagreb, 2011, Leykam international doo), in collaboration with Fedor Kritovac. With Fedor Kritovac I have realized a number exhibition projects with similar thematic origins (Craft Spectacle, Karas Gallery, New Crafts, Galženica Gallery, MaxArtFest). Collaboration on the book Save the Sign (ed. Sanja Bachrach-Krištofić, Zagreb, 2014, Kultura umjetnosti) can also be included in this group of works.
