Ivana Bago
Ivana Bago is an independent scholar, writer and curator based in Zagreb. In 2018, she earned a PhD in Art History and Visual Culture at Duke University and is currently a lecturer at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She is the co-founder (with Antonia Majaca) of Delve | Institute for Duration, Location and Variables (www.delve.hr). She has published extensively on contemporary art, including conceptual art, history of exhibitions and curating, performance, feminism, art and technology, (post)Yugoslav art, and post-1989 art historiographies, and is a regular contributor to Artforum, as well as a member of the editorial board of ARTMargins, published by The MIT Press. Her curatorial projects include: Moving Forwards, Counting Backwards, University Museum of Contemporary Art, Mexico City, 2012; The Orange Dog and Other Tales, Performance Studies international, Zagreb, 2009; Stalking with Stories, Apexart, New York, 2007.
