Irena Borić
Irena Borić (1982) is an art historian who works as a independent curator and critic. She holds MA in Art History and History (2009) from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Zagreb and MA in Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education (2011) from Maastricht University. She has collaborated on projects Shame on You! (2013-2017), net.cube (2015-2017), and Economies of Love/Politics of Feelings (2011-14) in which she conceived and organised diverse artistic and educational programs composed of production of new artworks, workshops, artist talks, seminars, exhibitions, lectures and publications. She was a member of the Biennial collective of the 32nd Biennial of Graphic Arts: Birth as Criterion, Ljubljana, Slovenia (2017). Co-conception and moderation of an international symposium The Irrational in aBiennial (2018). She has participated in curatorial residencies in Helsinki, Finland (2011), Celje, Slovenia (2012) and Vienna, Austria (2015). She is a member of the Croatian section of the AICA. As a member of INCA press she co-edited publication Forms of Education: Couldn’t Get a Sense of It.
