Renata Šparada
A Zagreb-based art critic and curator, born in 1984 in Šibenik, she graduated philosophy and art history from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She publishes articles and critiques in Vijenac, Život umjetnosti, Kontura, and Zarez magazines, at Kulturpunkt and Pogledaj.to websites and Croatian Radio 3 show Triptih. She received the curatorial certificate after a one-year internship at the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb. She curated (with Irena Borić and Martina Kontošić) net art project “net.cube” and the exhibitions “The Day My Internet Art Paid Off!” at the Galženica Gallery in Velika Gorica (2016), “Behind the Scenes – Visual Codes of the Network” at the VN Gallery in Zagreb (2017) and “Body on the Net” at the City Gallery Striegl in Sisak (2017). With Irena Borić she curated the exhibition “Truth That Lies” and panel “War on Facts” in Utrecht, Netherlands (2019).
